SYNOPSIS - Throughout Quebec, a growing community is participating in poetry slam evenings. In front of a captivated audience, slammers of all ages, amateurs or professional artists, take the stage and take the microphone in a space of total freedom, even if the rules of the game are strict: three minutes maximum, no music, no props and five judges who give marks. At the end of the league's season, the winner of the Grand Slam du Québec goes to represent Quebec at the Slam World Cup in Paris. And it's been three times that Quebec wins. But you can also slam on record, or in shows. By meeting five of Quebec's best slammers, you will discover how Quebec slam is about to win its battle for recognition.
